Why does the Veterans' Foundation support Armed Forces Equine Charity?

The Armed Forces Equine Charity is an inclusive charity that provides support beyond the yard. They provide facilities and encourage participation in sport and recreation by all members of the armed forces community, including children and young people, older people and people with health conditions or impairments.The catalyst for thier life-changing interventions are the interactions they design and deliver between human and horse. The Armed Force Equine Charity do this through Sport and Recreation, supporting people in therapy, in recovery, in rehabilitation, and with their learning. Their wider welfare and wellbeing work is delivered through Community Hubs / Cafes and Heritage Trails that are collocated with thier equestrian centres across the country.

How you can support the Veterans' Foundation

The Veterans’ Foundation has provided grants to hundreds of UK-based military charities and organisations since its inception in 2016. It is dedicated to distributing funding to where it is most effective and millions of pounds have been given to projects that have a positive impact on British veterans, and their dependents, in need.
