Why does the Veterans' Foundation support Carers Plus Yorkshire?
Carers Plus Yorkshire Ltd. have 28 years’ experience of listening, supporting, and working in partnership with unpaid family carers.
Over recent years they have diversified their work to include support for others who are impacted by loneliness, isolation and/or reduced confidence. As an organisation, their vision is ‘to ensure unpaid carers and those we support in the wider community feel listened to, supported and empowered’. Carers Plus Yorkshire Ltd are immensely proud to have built a team of exceptionally skilled advisers who are knowledgeable and committed to placing clients at the heart of their work.
How you can support the Veterans' Foundation
The Veterans’ Foundation has provided grants to hundreds of UK-based military charities and organisations since its inception in 2016. It is dedicated to distributing funding to where it is most effective and millions of pounds have been given to projects that have a positive impact on British veterans, and their dependents, in need.
