Former Forces Support

Why does the Veterans' Foundation support Former Forces Support?

The team at Former Forces Support harnesses the leadership and professionalism of the forces and uses it to deliver programmes around personal development allowing people to tackle their fears and attain their goals. This is a project where veterans serve the community.

Former Forces Support offers learning through personal development and self-reflection and in every session instructors help British Armed Forces veterans to live a better life.

There are various initiatives including Wilderness Wellbeing Walks that promote the healing power of being close to nature and boosting creativity and well being.

Other classes cover employment training, social inclusion projects, and an Elite Pupil Programme for building on achievements.
