Vector 24

Why does the Veterans' Foundation support Vector24 (previously Fares4Free)?

Vector24 provides essential transport support for the armed forces community, ensuring that veterans and their families can access vital medical care, mental health services, and social connections without the barrier of transportation.

With more than 220,000 veterans living in Scotland, Vector24 has identified that a significant number of these ex-servicemen and women encounter difficulties when transitioning to civilian life.

However, its service is about more than just transport—Vector 24 provides a trusted, safe, and reliable connection to the support systems that people need. Whether it’s getting someone to an urgent medical appointment, linking them with welfare services, or even enabling them to reconnect with their community, they make sure they don’t face these challenges alone.

Vector24 works with more than 60 partner charities and organisations. Clients can self-refer via a 24/7 online booking form on its website (www.vector24.co.uk) or by calling 0141 266 600, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
