Little Troopers
Why does the Veterans' Foundation support Little Troopers?
Little Troopers was founded in 2011 and its aim is to support all children with one or both parents serving in our British Armed Forces (regular or reserve).
The charity was founded by Louise Fetigan, who decided something needed to be done after she and her husband were deployed overseas. Louise saw first-hand the effects active service was having on their daughter.
In short, the family struggled to find the help and support needed - and Little Troopers was born.
As a charity, Little Troopers has fundamental resources available to help ease and aid any separation period and its initiatives exist to keep serving parents and their children connected when thousands of miles may separate them.
Much has changed since Little Trooper’s inception nine years ago, but it remains a well-loved - and essential - military children’s charity with a vital support toolbox for all those families that need it.
How you can support the Veterans' Foundation
The Veterans’ Foundation has provided grants to hundreds of UK-based military charities and organisations since its inception in 2016. It is dedicated to distributing funding to where it is most effective and millions of pounds have been given to projects that have a positive impact on British veterans, and their dependents, in need.
If you’d like to become of a supporter of the Veterans’ Foundation you can do so by making a donation, by fundraising, by leaving something to Veterans' Foundation in your will or by joining the Veterans’ Lottery. Thank you.
