Why does Veterans' Foundation support Stoll?

Stoll exists to help vulnerable veterans adapt to civilian life once their career in the British Armed Forces is over. Stoll’s team of experts help to identify what types of support each veteran they come in contact with needs to best help them. From providing emergency housing, help to find work or even just helping to develop interpersonal skills - Stoll is here for veterans.

The dedicated staff at Stoll communicate with relevant county councils and housing associations to help veterans all over the UK to find housing. Alongside the other services Stoll provides, they also provide over 250 affordable homes, especially for veterans. Centred around London, the charity also holds a drop-in centre where veterans can talk to experts who can help them overcome the specific challenges veterans are facing.

Sir Oswald Stoll made his name in business during the 1900s. Alongside his blooming business empire, Sir Oswald Stoll began the War Seal Foundation which provided WW1 veterans with places to stay once they returned home war along with providing support to injured veterans and their families. The War Seal Foundation was renamed the Sir Oswald Stoll foundation and still adheres to the values that it was established with.
