We are delighted to announce that the £7, 000 first prize in our latest Veterans’ Lottery draw has been won by Jan from Rochester.
The £3,500 second prize went to our lucky runner-up Lynne, from Norwich, and we can also announce that there has been 11,334 winners who have shared just over £2.8 million in prize money since the launch of the Veterans' Lottery in 2016.
This month’s draw comes as the charity recently celebrated a remarkable milestone – over £30 million in grants awarded to organisations supporting veterans, serving personnel, and their families nationwide.
Grants have ranged from just a few hundred pounds to an impressive £200,000, enabling more than 500 charities to deliver essential services tackling key challenges faced by the veteran community – including mental health support, homelessness prevention, employment opportunities, and reducing social isolation.
Thanks to our loyal Veterans’ Lottery players as the funds raised have transformed lives and ensured that those who have served our country receive the help and support they deserve.
The Veterans’ Lottery is now the UK’s Largest single-charity lottery and is a key funding stream for the Foundation’s grant programme.
