Mode Rehabilitation

Why does the Veterans' Foundation support Mode Rehabilitation?

Mode Rehabilitation specialises in providing veterans with bespoke psychological counselling aimed specifically at helping veterans overcome complex and debilitating mental health problems. They work with other veterans charities and take referrals in order to provide them with the care needed.

Mode Rehabilitation is a charity that offers free psychological support for people (not just veterans) living in Stockport. The charity offers expert counselling and focuses on a number of fields that can help clients unlock their potential. The charity’s work is not just limited to counselling; when veterans are willing and able to start planning ahead, Mode Rehabilitation can offer them a path to a career. They work together with Project Reece to help veterans build a brighter future.

Veterans who serve in the British Armed Forces can find themselves struggling with a variety of both mental and physical problems. Mode Rehabilitation works hard to help veterans take on their problems. Conditions such as PTSD, addiction and anxiety are commonplace amongst ex-servicemen and women. Whilst Mode Rehabilitation excels in helping veterans tackle these issues, many veterans who have suffered physical injuries such as loss of limbs also develop acute mental health problems when coming to terms with their injuries. This is another key aspect of their work.
